What to Expect
DEFINE classes are designed to get your whole body moving. To get the most out of the movement, wear athletic clothing that will move with you. And, movement equals sweat: be sure to hydrate before you arrive, and bring a water bottle to have with you in class. Arrive 15 minutes before your first class to register, bring your open mind and best effort; our expert instructors and well-stocked studios will take care of the rest.

Sadie was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in Mobile, AL. She currently resides in Houston with her husband and two dogs. She was a professional ballet dancer for ten years and first began her career with Alabama Ballet. After four years with the company, while also attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she got a job with Houston Ballet. She came to Houston without knowing anyone and was able to continue her education at St. Edward’s University via correspondence and received a B.A. in Humanities and Dance. She danced for six years with Houston Ballet when unfortunately she suffered from a lower back injury. Sadie decided to retire from dancing altogether after months of rehabbing her back but still not being able to fully recover. Hesitant to try her first DEFINE body class with her previous back injury, it was the safety of the method and the low impact fitness options that had her hooked right away. She noticed a huge difference in her strength and flexibility again while continuing the road to recovery of being free from back pain. She found that her favorite aspects of dance and pilates, coupled with the uplifting music, made her feel as though she was back in her element again. She loves having the opportunity as a new DEFINE owner to help educate and inspire clients, who may also struggle with an injury, on their journey of achieving their absolute best.
As a native Houstonian, Haley was excited to move back into the city after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2009. With a need for variation in her schedule and needing an outlet from the craziness of life, she ventured out and tried her first DEFINE class, and was instantly hooked. DEFINE challenged her in ways she didn’t know were possible and provided the mindful balance she desired. With DEFINE, she’s able to push herself, mentally and physically, as well as be a member of a one-of-a-kind community that uplifts and supports others unfailingly. She is excited for this new journey as a franchise owner and to share the benefits of DEFINE and her passion for the method. In her spare time, Haley enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, Presley and Grayson.
Originally from the Houston area, Emily became familiar with DEFINE in 2010. Being an avid runner, she desired a form of exercise that was easier on her joints and supported overall health and wellness. After one class, she was hooked! The DEFINE method mixed with the overwhelming sense of community made the decision to become a part of the DEFINE family an easy one. Emily graduated from Baylor University in 2008 and loves cheering on her Baylor Bears with her husband, Brent, and their two kids, Kennedy and Harvey.
